Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is a body of local citizens that serve within local government, acting as an advisory group to the governing body on issues and policies related to planning, land use regulation, and community development. The role of the Planning Commission is to provide citizen review and recommendations on planning-related matters, primarily with the Comprehensive Plan and Municipal Code around zoning and land use regulations, to the City Council.
The planning commission regularly meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month following the first City Council meeting. Meeting starts at 6:00 pm.
