Celebrating Public Works Week!

This week is Public Works Week! The official proclamation from Governor Inslee states that "...public works professionals focus on infrastructure, facilities and services that are of vital importance to the people of Washington State"... "responsible for rebuilding, improving and protecting our nation's transportation, water supply, water treatment, solid waste systems, public buildings and other structures and facilities essential for the people in our state."

We hope that you take a moment to raise a glass (of delicious Black Diamond tap water) for your Black Diamond Public Works team. They continue to take care of the City's water, sewer, and stormwater systems, as well as streets, parks, facilities, and the cemetery. Happy Public Works Week everyone!
