Sanitary Sewer Utility

Morganville Sewer Lift Station

Purpose 

The City of Black Diamond is dedicated to protecting the environment by providing reliable local sewage collection services. 

The City provides local sewage collection services for all of the city except for the area around Lake Sawyer.  Soos Creek Water and Sewer District provides sewer service to the northwest area of Lake Sawyer.  The rest of the area around Lake Sawyer has no public sewer but is served by individual private on-site wastewater disposal systems (septic tank & drain field)

The City discharges sewage to King County Regional Wastewater Treatment Facilities for conveyance to Renton for treatment and discharge.
