Stormwater Utility

Covington Creek Culverts

Purpose

The purpose of the Stormwater Utility is to protect the natural environment from the impacts of stormwater runoff by properly maintaining the City stormwater system and implementing the City’s stormwater management plan.

The city follows the guidance of the State Department of Ecology and local codes to maintain the existing stormwater systems and to help protect the aquatic environment and preserve the natural quality of life in Black Diamond.
