Burn Permits

The city has received inquiries about burning vegetation from the recent windstorms. No burning within Black Diamond city limits is permitted. If a permit is issued/printed for an address within the City of Black Diamond, the permit is not valid. State law prohibits burning of yard waste vegetation within City Limits; recreational fires are permitted and are for the burning of seasoned firewood only (no yard debris).
