Scam/Fraud Alert

Citizens please be aware, a phone scam has been targeting Black Diamond residents.

The individuals participating in this scam are impersonating the Black Diamond Police Department and Black Diamond Court. The caller may know your name and may be using the names of actual BDPD or Court staff members. The calls may be using spoofing technology to imitate legitimate Black Diamond phone numbers as well. The callers may accuse you of being wanted for a crime or missing a Court appearance.

Please do not provide these callers with any information. The Police Department and Court will never call to demand money and do not use payment apps such as CashApp and Zelle.
